Emergency & Disaster

You never know when disaster will strike or how long it will last. A disaster or emergency can cause complications with your health care. Vaya Health is here to support members and their families during emergencies or disasters, such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other weather events. We will provide resources, updates, and guidance to make sure you can get the care you need throughout the state of emergency.

Members or their loved ones in crisis can call our Member and Recipient Service Line at 1-800-962-9003, Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you need assistance outside of those hours, call our Behavioral Health Crisis Line at 1- 800-849-6127, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For life-threatening and medical emergencies, call 911.

You should not have to go without your medicines during a disaster or emergency. Call your pharmacy or the Member and Recipient Service Line at 1-800-962-9003 if you do not have enough medicine. Your pharmacy may be able to give you enough medicine to get through the emergency.
